Monday is the first day of the Butler Area Public Library Summer Reading Challenge and it is also the last day for people to return items that were checked out before the COVID-19 shutdown.
All registration and tracking will be done through Beanstack which is a web and mobile application used to track independent reading time. Tutorial videos about using Beanstack can be found on Youtube.
By reading and logging five books before August 15th, participants will be able to complete a badge and earn a ticket for the prize drawings. Bonus tickets can be earned by completing activity badges.
Anyone who still has materials that were checked out before the library’s coronavirus closure in March is asked to return those materials in the book drop by today. Those with questions should contact the library directly.
