The Pennsylvania House has approved a bill to move the 2024 Presidential Primary.
After the house voted overwhelmingly against the proposed Pennsylvania Senate date of March 19, they voted to move the election to April 2.
There were also added election law measures that were voted down, including the addition of showing an ID when voting and mail in ballot changes.
The current April 2 bill will go to the Senate when it reconvenes on October 16. Once the Senate approves the change, Governor Josh Shapiro will need to sign the bill.
There is no word on if Shapiro supports the move to April 2 if the bill passes in the senate.
