A popular drive-thru in Cranberry Township could soon be undergoing updates.
The Chick-Fil-A along Route 228 is one of the most jam-packed drive-thru lines in the county. Now, the owners are proposing a change that needs to be approved by the township’s board of supervisors.
The restaurant is proposing to demolish the current drive-thru canopy and construct two new lanes with canopies. An additional full access point would also be created on Longtree Way.
Officials say the current traffic at the restaurant is spilling over into other businesses parking lots and can clog traffic.
