The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is making sure customers are aware that now is the time to review customer account information.
Electric distribution companies will be notifying residents over the next six weeks about the information being provided to electric distribution companies.
The ability to include or restrict information like electric usage history and address is available every three years as part of the eligible customer list maintained by all electric distribution companies. This list does not include telephone numbers.
More information about this process can be found on inserts with electric bills or in emails from your current electric utility. This list allows for licensed competitive suppliers to provide appropriate offers to customers.
