There is a new director of Pullman Park.
The Stadium Authority approved the hiring of Dan Helgert to oversee the operations of the downtown baseball facility.
Helgert has been involved with the Butler Blue Sox collegiate team over the last handful of years, and will now serve as the Pullman’s director.
In a meeting earlier this week, Helgert says he is looking to improve field conditions at the park while also bringing in more sponsors to help fund park operations.
Helgert replaces Dean Selfridge as the director.
