With baseball season around the corner, players and spectators will see an update to the field at Pullman Park.
Officials say new turf has been installed at home plate. That will cover both batter boxes and the surrounding area.
When the field was initially installed, both the mound and home plate were composed of dirt instead of turf.
This is the second time Pullman Park has installed new turf at home plate since the renovations to the park in 2008.
