Purdue became this season’s first unanimous No. 1 team in the Associated Press’ Top 25 men’s college basketball poll Monday after wins against Michigan and Michigan State last week as chaos ensued behind the Boilermakers among other ranked teams. More than half of Top 25 teams lost, including second-ranked Alabama, which was routed by unranked Oklahoma. That allowed Tennessee to jumped two spots to second. Houston held onto third.
In the women’s poll, South Carolina remained No. 1 for the 32nd consecutive week and previously undefeated Ohio State lost all three of its games and tumbled from No. 2 to No. 10. Stanford moved into the second spot.
