After two previous postponed events, organizers of the Jean B. Purvis Community Cornerstone Award hope to have the ceremony this summer.
The annual award was established by the Jean Purvis Community Health Center to honor someone who has made a significant contribution to the well-being of Butler County.
Last year, Center for Community Resources CEO Mike Robb was announced as the winner. However, a ceremony was never held due to the pandemic.
The event is now scheduled for June 25th at the Butler Country Club. Tickets can be purchased at butlerhealthclinic.org.
