R. Wayne Lingler, 81, of Cranberry, PA, passed away in the comfort of his home on June 14, 2025.
He was born on September 11, 1943 in Franklin, PA, to Rev. Mason Lingler and Rev. June (Wise) Lingler.
Wayne graduated from Brookville High School and Lycoming College with a Bachelor Degree in Economics. Wayne worked in management at JC Penny and as a Pipefitter at Penreco, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, reading, and sports cars.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Morrow) Lingler, whom he married on August 3, 1968; sons, Conan ( Dr. Jennifer) Lingler of Sacramento, CA, Justin (Dr. Kimberley) Lingler of Midlothian, VA, and Cameron Lingler of Butler, PA; grandchildren, Gemma, Malena, Siena, Vandin, and Elric Lingler; sisters, Sheryl Saher and Phyllis Williams, and sister-in-law, Pamela Miller. Also, he is survived by his best friend and loyal companion, his dog, Queenie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws; Joesph and Aldean Morrow; brothers-in-law, John Miller, Drexel Williams, and Zygmund Saher; nephew, Mason Boehm, and niece, Sara Boehm.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
