Ralph Edward Folk, age 75, of Tionesta, formerly of Butler, passed away Tues., Sept. 27, 2022, in Butler.
Born Aug. 19, 1947 in Butler, he was a son of the late LaVerne and Rita Marie Plunkard Folk.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Ralph served during the Vietnam War.
He retired from Armco as a maintenance supervisor. He was also employed for Armco at Butler County Area Vocational-Technical School as a Training Administrator.
Ralph was a lover of Hunting, Fishing, Football, and all things Black and Gold. Spending time with his “Babies” (Grandchildren) was one of his greatest joys. He’ll forever be remembered as the keeper of the porch and Never Forgotten.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Marlene M. Iannotti Folk, whom he married Twice. July 22, 1967 & May 14, 1977. four children, Joseph Daniel Kinnik, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, of Mars, Gregory Lee Folk and his wife, Gina, of Chicora, Brett Edward Folk and his wife, Susan, of Butler, and Myrle “Mimi” Dusheck and her husband, Jeremy, of Butler; ten grandchildren, Taylor, Dylan, Alexis, Zach, Hannah, Taite, Payton, Madi, Trey, and Talbot; and two great-grandchildren, Ayla and Paisley.
Also surviving are one brother, Jeffrey Folk, of Prospect; two sisters, Linda Sintz and her husband, Bob, of Butler, and Suella Turek and her husband, Bruce, of Florida; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Ronna Richardson; and one brother, Bob Folk.
Friends will be received at Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. Friday by VFW Post 249, American Legion Post 778, American Legion Post 117, and VFW Post 499, and Funeral Services will follow at 1:30 p.m., with his family friend, Bill Parise, officiating.
Burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.
