NFL Football on Tuesday:
–Philadelphia defeated Washington 27-17. Former Penn State running back Miles Sanders carried the ball 18 times for a career-high 131 yards for Philadelphia. He became the first Eagles running back with back-to-back 100 rushing games since former Pitt product LeSean McCoy in 2014. With the victory, the Eagles improved to 7-7. Washington fell to 6-8.
–The Los Angeles Rams defeated Seattle 20-10. The NFL’s leading receiver, Cooper Kupp, caught two touchdown passes. He broke Isaac Bruce’s single-season Rams receptions record with his 120th of the year. The Rams improved to 10-4 and are now tied with Arizona for first place in the NFC West. Seattle fell to 5-9.
