A local lawmaker is once again encouraging colleagues to support a resolution of impeachment against Governor Tom Wolf.
State representative Daryl Metcalfe of Cranberry cited the most recent of what he is calling “tyrannical abuses of emergency power” in reissuing a memorandum asking for support for impeachment.
In a statement about Wolf’s recent orders, Metcalfe claims that “It is unconscionable that the governor would make this decision approaching the holiday season.” He goes on to say that “The governor’s recent order has given businesses throughout the state no time to plan for the closures.”
