A local lawmaker plans to advance legislation that would reform regulations as part of a voting meeting scheduled for today.
In his role as Majority Chairman of the PA House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee, State Representative Daryl Metcalfe would like to advance House Bills 72, 139, and 288 at the meeting planned for 10 a.m. in the Harrisburg State Capitol Complex.
These bills would amend the Regulatory Review Act to include approval from the General Assembly, increase the transparency of the permitting process, and establish regulatory compliance officers within state agencies.
The hearing will be streamed live on Metcalfe’s website.
