Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson is calling for Americans to get back to work.
The 15th District Republican spoke on the House floor earlier this week saying that a recent job fair in Clarion County didn’t meet expectations.
“Employers from numerous sectors gathered hoping to find employees of all skill levels with great, family sustaining jobs available,” Thompson said. “Sadly, the career fair lacked individuals ready to rejoin the workforce.”
Thompson also added that the relief bills were necessary at the time, but as businesses reopen, they are in need to qualified workers to fill open jobs.
