Lawmakers are asking for feedback from the public as they prepare to begin the process of redrawing U.S. Congressional districts.
Leaders of the Republican Party in the PA House of Representatives recently announced that a redistricting website has been launched and a series of hearings will also be held around the state.
The website PaRedistricting.com will allow for residents to share thoughts about how the process should unfold. It will also provide more information about upcoming activities and hearings. In the future, the site will allow the public to submit proposed Congressional maps.
Hearings are set to begin on July 22nd in Harrisburg and additional hearings are planned for August, September, and October in many different areas across the state. More details about a hearing in Butler County or close by are not yet available.
