Butler Township will be adding a new township commissioner after an incumbent was defeated in yesterday’s municipal election.
Incumbent Democrat Dave Zarnick fell short of reelection with 20% of the vote.
Democrat/Republican David Rice won the third seat with 26% of the vote.
Incumbent Republicans Joseph Weist and James Lokhaiser, Jr. won reelection with 27% and 25%.
