Richard M. Pallone, age 70, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at his residence following an illness.
Born in Butler on October 6, 1950, he was a son of the late Richard P. and Rosemarie Fornelli Pallone.
Rich was a veteran of the U.S. Army who proudly served in Vietnam.
He was the former owner and manager of the Army Navy Store in Butler. He later went on to work at the Workingman’s Store.
Rich was a member of Saint Peter Roman Catholic Church. He also belonged to American Legion Post 117 in Butler.
He had a great affection and love for all animals.
Rich is survived by his three siblings, Barry Pallone and his wife, Donna, Larry Pallone and his wife, Beth, and Lisa Wells, all of Butler; two grandchildren, Sheyanna Pallone and Shelby Miller, both of Butler; his fiancée, Alison Ritzert, of Renfrew; and eight nieces and nephews, Dominic, Anthony, Chelsea, Adam, Catrina, Keera, Brianna, and Bryceton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie G. “Ginger” Nagel Pallone, who passed away September 25, 2013.
There will be no visitation, and funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family requests memorial donations to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Rd., Renfrew, PA 16053.
