Former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge is leaving the hospital after suffering a stroke earlier this month.
Ridge was discharged Sunday afternoon and will now undergo treatment at a rehab facility in the Washington D.C. area.
Ridge had successful surgery to remove a blood clot after being taken to the hospital following his stroke.
Ridge was the governor of Pennsylvania from 1995 to 2001 before being named the first U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security.
