Road course ace Allmendinger takes Charlotte “Roval” win

A.J. Allmendinger took the checkered flag Sunday on the Charlotte Motor Speedway “Roval” track in North Carolina. The non-playoff driver held off William Byron who finished second and Kyle Busch who was third. Busch was one of four drivers eliminated from the championship playoffs, along with Ross Chastain, Brad Keselowski and Bubba Wallace. The drivers head to Las Vegas this weekend.
