Robert “Bob” Skal

Robert “Bob” Skal, 77, of Butler passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022. He was born in Butler on May 26, 1945 to the late John and Pauline (Nowakowski) Skal. Bob graduated from Butler High School class of 1965 before he served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was employed at Armco and was a member of the Sheet Metal Local 12 Union. Bob was known to be a good husband, good father, and hardworking. He loved to have a good laugh and he also played drums in a band. Bob was the beloved husband of Joy (Wilson) Skal since their marriage on August 19, 1967; father of Brian Skal, Brad (Ann) Skal, Shannon Skal, and Jodee Wymer; and brother of Ed Skal and Paul Skal. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter Cherri Hicks and 8 siblings.
