Robert F. Zera

Robert F. Zera, 84, of Butler, passed away, Monday evening, January 13, 2025.
He was born December 28, 1940 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Frank S. Zera and Thelma M. (Haley) Zera.
Bob was a graduate of Mars High School and St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe, PA. He worked as a designer for the Butler Florist for 27 years, beginning in 1981. He was a member of All Saints Parish in Butler, also the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree member of the #866 Butler Council and 4th Degree member of the #929 St. Fidelis Assembly, the Brother Oblation at St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe and was a member of the Benedictine Order. He enjoyed baking and cooking for family and friends and also at the St. Vincent Monastery and also at the Holy Trinity Monastery in Butler.
Bob will be missed by his friends he had made.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street in Butler, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, at 10:00 am, at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Avenue, Butler. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
