Robert G. “Bobby” Criley, 62, of Butler, passed away, March 5, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
He was born May 13, 1961 a son of the late Harold J. Criley and Mary (Knittel) Criley.
Bobby resided at a Community Living Home through The ARC of Butler County and was previously employed by PARC Productions. He attended the day program at Golden Opportunities, participated in Special Olympics and attended summer camp yearly at the YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee Spencer in Fombell. He was a loving person with a great sense of humor who enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed spending time with the staff and other residents of his home and attending outings, bowling and parties with ARC. He also treasured his colored pencil collection which he wanted to take everywhere he went.
His family would like to thank all of the staff of ARC, PARC, Golden Opportunities and especially the staff at his home, also the VNA of Butler and Good Samaritan Hospice of Wexford.
He is survived by 2 brothers, Jerry Criley and Harold J. “Jim” (Nancy) Criley, Jr., both of Butler.
7 sisters: Judy Vaneman of Covington, GA; Linda (Anthony) Bonetti, Rose Taylor, Mary (Fred) Green, Joan Steighner, Jean Wigton, all of Butler and Grace (Leonard) Abbruzzese of Zelienople.
A number of nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, from 9:00 am until 10:00 am Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler. Interment to be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Herman.
