Robert J. “Bob” Hollack, 74, of Butler, passed away Tuesday morning, April 23, 2024, while residing in Concordia at Ridgewood Place in Pittsburgh.
He was born October 2, 1949 in Butler, a son of the late Harry Hollack and Sonia (Markiw) Hollack.
Bob graduated from Butler High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Slippery Rock University. He was self-employed as owner/operator of Country Motors, Inc. in Butler for over 30 years, retiring in 2007. He was a member of the Community Alliance Church in Butler, was a previous member of the Butler Country Club, the Forest Country Club in Ft. Myers, Florida and the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh. Bob enjoyed building RC Cars, collecting watches, golfing, riding motorcycles and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Bob served in the United States Army Reserves.
He is survived by his daughter, Jaime (Jason) McKenzie, and granddaughter Reagan McKenzie of Richboro, PA.
Son, Greg (Jessica) Hollack, and granddaughters, Ella Hollack and Abbi Hollack of Pittsburgh.
Son, Jeff (Samantha) Hollack of Winston-Salem, NC.
In addition to his parents, Harry and Sonia, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Hollack of Scottsdale, AZ.
Private Services will be held for his family. Donations are requested for the Concordia Lutheran Ministries Benevolent Care Fund, 148 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
