Robert Kriess

Robert Kriess, 65, of Butler passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025. He was born in Butler on May 4, 1959, to Henry Kriess and Shirley Walowen. Robert graduated from Butler High School in 1977 and honorably served in the USMC from 1977 to 1980. He was employed as a project manager for commercial construction for over 35 years. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, and he will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Robert was the beloved husband of Becky (Garrison) Kriess since their marriage almost 38 years ago; father of Kalsey (Brian) Swope and Kolby Kriess; brother of Bill (Cindy) Kriess and Dale Kriess; grandfather of Blaine, Brinley, and Barrett Swope. Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry (Kriess) Koegler. Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 6 – 7:30 PM at SPENCER D.
