Robert Meade Shearer

Robert Meade Shearer, 69, of Butler passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice in Concordia. He and his twin sister Cindy were born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 17, 1952 to their late parents William and Cordelia (Healey) Shearer. Robert spent 1972 serving in the Air Force. He enjoyed wood carving, reading, and was an excellent artist. He is survived by his siblings Nancy, Art and Jack; children Megan, Travis, Riley and Madison; and grandchildren Hope, Javier, Lilianna, Braxon and Paisley. He was preceded in death by his twin sister Cindy Erkman and his brother Bill Shearer. Family and friends received on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 1-3 PM at the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE ROAD, BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. A blessing service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
