Robert Paul “Bull” Jarosinski (57) of Sarver, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully in his home on March 8, 2022, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born April 4, 1964, in Natrona Heights to Richard and Constance (Dabkowski) Jarosinski. Robert was a devoted husband and father. He and wife, Peg (Cravener) Jarosinski married in February 2006 and had three children whom he adored: daughter, Julie M. Jarosinski (Sarver) and two sons Robert P. Jarosinski (Sarver) and Devin E. Earney (Clarion).
Rob graduated Freeport Area High School in 1982 where he enjoyed playing football under the leadership of Coaches Don Earley, Bill Dillen and Gary Kepple. He attended Clarion State College to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Education and was a four-year starting linebacker. Following a brief teaching and coaching experience, Robert earned a diploma from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1991 and spent the next 31 years as a compassionate Funeral Director; most recently employed at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home since 2014.
An avid outdoorsman, Robert lived to hunt and fish; a passion he shared with his young son, Robert. He also enjoyed softball and golf which he played with his eldest son, Devin. Robert shared his love of running with his daughter, Julie. He ran many local 5ks and half marathons until ultimately finishing the Pittsburgh Full Marathon in 2018. Robert was inducted into the Armstrong County Sports Hall of Fame, Class of 2018 and was a member of the Tarentum District Sportmen’s Club. Robert was a member of St. Francis of Assisi at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cabot, PA.
Beyond his wife, children and parents, Rob is survived by brothers Richard J. and his wife Jane Ellen (Bentley) Jarosinski, and Michael A. and his wife Patricia (Palovchak) Jarosinski; one niece, Erin Jarosinski; two nephews, Michael D. Jarosinski, and Kevin P. Jarosinski.
Per his wishes, there will be no public visitation; a celebration of life will be held at a later time.
