Roberta “Bobbi” I. Prementine, 48, of Slippery Rock, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
She was born September 20, 1972 in Butler, the daughter of the late Robert Dewain Simons and Irene (Novalis) Simons.
Bobbi graduated from Butler Area Senior High School in 1990, then went on to achieve a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris University. Following college, she worked as a customer services representative for TW Phillips for several years, then worked for PNC Bank at Moraine as a cashier, customer service representative and a loan officer. Bobbi also had been a server at Red Lobster. She also worked for Alliance For Non Profit Resources as a caregiver to her brother, Matthew. Bobbi did all this while being a loving wife and mother of four beautiful children. Anyone who knew her, knew how much she loved and devoted herself to her children’s sporting events and activities.
Surviving are her mother, Irene Elizabeth Simons of Butler; her husband, Jason Prementine, whom she married on August 10, 1996, of Slippery Rock; her 3 sons, Hunter Prementine E-4 serving on the USS Abraham Lincoln as a nuclear operator based in San Diego, Brady Prementine and Levi Prementine, both of Slippery Rock; her daughter, Lexis Prementine of Slippery Rock; her sister, Elizabeth “Beth” (Shane) E. Ozella; her brother, Matthew Simons, nieces and nephews, Brittany (Ed) Steele, Daniel L. Steele, II, all of Butler and Tama (Rachel) Cassel of Warren MI; great nephews, Jace Robert Daniel Steele and Robert Cassel and great niece, Rhiannon; her in-laws, Robert and Kathleen Prementine of Butler and a sister in law, Beth (Tom) Shelton of Austin, TX, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Dewain Simons, sisters, Renee L. Simons and Monica Lee Simons, nephew, Robert W. Foulk, her fraternal and maternal grandparents.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 12PM – 2PM & 7PM-9PM and on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9AM until the time of service at 10AM with Pastor Mary Kitchen of East Butler Presbyterian Church officiating.
