The unofficial results of the Pennsylvania Primary Election are in, and the most dramatic race of the evening– here in Butler County- was the race for the county’s next judge.
William “Wink” Robinson won both the Republican and Democratic nominations, according to unofficial election results, and will be the only candidate to appear on the fall ballot, barring any write-ins.
All four candidates in the race cross-filed. Robinson won the Republican nomination by a pretty hefty margin (35 percent of the vote- 6,196 votes). The next closest candidate was Jennifer Gilliland-Vanasdale with 4,224 votes.
But on the Democratic ticket, it was much closer. Robinson defeated Vanasdale by only six votes.
All results are unofficial.
