There will not be a Triple Crown winner in 2021 after Medina Spirit did not win Saturday’s running of the Preakness Stakes.
The winner of the 146th running of the Preakness Stakes was Rombauer, who held 11-1 odds going into the race. Medina Spirit, the winner of the 2021 Kentucky Derby, finished third.
Fans will now turn their attention to the Belmont Stakes, which is scheduled for June 5th.
