Ronald Bole

Ronald Bole, 89, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2020. He was born in Butler on June 21, 1931 to the late George and Edith Bole. Ron served his country honorably in the US Air Force at which time he met the love of his life, Margaret (Wright) Bole whom he married in 1954. He worked as the Manager for Greenough Engineering and then Shannon Engineering until he started his own survey and design company that he operated until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, model airplanes and trains, and most of all being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was known to love life and will be forever missed. He was the beloved husband of Margaret Bole; father of John (Pamela), Kevin, Scott, and Chris Bole; grandfather of Michelle, Stacey, Jennifer, Eric, Mallory, Nick, and Cody; and brother of Shirley Spradley. Ron is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and a large and loving family. He was preceded in death by his son Stephen Bole; his sister Glenda Cherry, and his mother-in-law Gladys Wright.
