Ronald Eugene Weaver, age 86, of Prospect, passed away Sat., May 8, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born in Butler on July 3, 1934, he was the son of the late Thelma Weaver.
A retired truck driver, Ron worked at Pat Morris Trucking and retired from McClymonds Supply and Transit.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his dog, Alvin.
Ron is survived by his children, Jeff Weaver and his wife, Lorraine, of Freeport, Kim Corey and her husband, Fran Brown, of Meadville, Pa., Greg Weaver and his wife, Judy, of Prospect, Roni Horstman and her husband, Curt, of Herman, and Jason Weaver and his wife, Wendi, of Prospect; one brother, Patrick Stockton and his wife, Sue, of Latrobe, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Mae Irvine Weaver, who passed away Oct. 24, 2003; one son, Scott Wesley Weaver, who passed away Nov. 19, 2020; and one sister, Gail Harris.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Tues., May 11, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with Reverend Jim Lewis officiating.
Burial will take place in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, Pa.
