Ronald “Ron” A. Yusko, 83, of Butler passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was born in Harwick, PA on June 3, 1941, to the late Joseph and Emma (Miskovsky) Yusko, whom he loved deeply. Ron retired from the PA Turnpike after 24 years and from Pullman Standard after 18 years. He took pride in his work and honorably served in the U.S. Army for 4 years. Ron was a social butterfly and always left you with a smile on your face. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Posts 117 and 778, member of the Slovak Club of Lyndora, and a social member of the SOI and Moose Clubs of Butler. Ron loved Sunday dinners of Kludniks & Zele in Goosetown/Chicora with family. He loved his one-liner jokes, 50/60’s music and was a “greaser” from way back. Ron cherished his friendships, family, morning breakfasts at the Burger Hut, service to his community and always had a contagious smile and had kind words for everyone. Ron enjoyed spending time visiting his daughter in Florida. Father of Raquel (Yusko) Aluisy, who he loved with all his heart; grandfather of Gabriel Aluisy; brother of Joseph “Butch” and William Yusko, he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, both local and in Buffalo, NY. Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his previous wife, Karen Swatzel. He will be sadly missed and forever in all our hearts, all who had the privilege of knowing Ron.
