Rose A. Heckert, age 90, of Butler, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, at her residence.
Born January 31, 1931 in Butler, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Comella Lascuola.
She was a member of All Saints Parish. In addition, she was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers.
Rose was a homemaker. She was also formerly employed at Spaide Shirt Factory and later for 25 years at Montgomery Ward.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Urbano and her husband, Ken Killen, of New Kensington, and Cheryl Deal and her husband, Frank, of Butler; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren;
one great-great grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Heckert, Sr., who passed away September 30, 1995; one son, William J. Heckert, Jr.; one daughter, Constance “Connie” Bergbigler; one grandson, William J. Heckert III; seven brothers; and two sisters.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Wednesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. from All Saints Parish, Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street, Butler, with Rev. Daniel R. Waruszewski officiating. You are welcome to meet at the church.
Burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.
