Rose Marie DePaolis, age 92, of Butler, passed away Saturday, September 9, at the YWCA Personal Care Residence in Butler.
Born in Butler on December 14, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore “Sam” and Anna Pintell DeFoggi.
She was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
Rose was employed for 30 years as the store manager at Bartoli’s Cleaners in front of Greater Butler Mart in Butler.
She is survived by two sisters, Angie Bartoli, of Butler, and Louise Puntureri and her husband, Rock, of Butler; two nieces, Sally (Kirk)Thompson, of Bethel Park, PA and Lori (Dr. David) Bencie, of Windber, PA.; one nephew, Rick Puntureri, of Tampa, FL.; and a number of great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph DePaolis, who passed away December 24, 1976.
Friends will be received at Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Avenue, Butler, on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will take place in Saint Michael’s Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Martin Funeral Home, Inc. 429 Center Avenue, Butler.
