Motorists planning on traveling a busy Cranberry Township road are being asked to use caution near an ongoing road project.
Beginning today at 6 a.m. day and night work will be taking place on Route 228 as part of the MSA Thruway project.
Work beginning today includes line stripping and traffic switches. One to two lanes are expected to be impacted at a time.
The $12 million MSA Thruway Project was approved last year and began construction last month. This project will include a tunnel as well as a roundabout and is expected to be completed in about a year and a half.
