A multiple vehicle crash in Butler Township Monday afternoon resulted in at least one serious injury.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 3:30 p.m. for a crash on Route 422 Eastbound near the Mercer Road overpass.
Crews from Butler Township, Butler City, and Butler Ambulance were among those dispatched to the scene to find three vehicles involved.
Two ambulances were called to the scene, including one that was requested for transport of at least one pediatric patient to Children’s Hospital.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time but traffic was delayed while crews worked to clear the scene.
