Another crash at a busy Penn Township intersection resulted in multiple injuries Thursday evening.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 8 p.m. for the accident on Route 8 South at the intersection with Airport Road.
Crews from Penn Township were among those responding to find two vehicles involved in the collision. At least one motorist was entrapped and two needed medical treatment for unknown injuries.
It was one week ago that well-known local realtor Ed Shields died as a result of a crash at the same intersection.
