Motorists traveling near an ongoing road project in Cranberry Township are being asked to use caution as traffic patterns will soon change.
Lanes will shift beginning Tuesday on Route 228 as part of the MSA Thruway project. The rain date for this shift is Wednesday.
Minor delays are expected while lines are painted on the new asphalt put in place during the first phase of theproject.
The $12 million MSA Thruway Project was approved last year and began construction in May. This project will include a tunnel as well as a roundabout and is expected to be completed sometime next year.
