Runners will hit the streets of downtown Butler this weekend for the annual Butler Road Race.
This is the 49th edition of the event, which is one of the longest-standing foot races in Western PA.
The course will follow the same track as last year, going from Diamond Park and looping at Alameda Park. There are also shorter courses for those doing the 2K.
Same-day registration is still available or can be done today at the YMCA.
There will also be closures to know about in downtown.
Main Street will be closed from Wayne to McKean Streets. Penn Street will be closed as well. The closures run from 8 a.m. to noon. Detours will be posted.
