Ruth A. Lang Wroblewski, age 66, of New Kensington, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights.
She was born February 28, 1957 in Pittsburgh; and was the daughter of the late William H. and Margaret I. Keener Lang.
In her young adult years, while living in Prospect she worked at the Prospect Corner Store, and then worked at the Butler Walmart. She retired to become a caregiver for her husband, father, and sisters.
Ruth loved her family. She loved to help others in any way possible. She was a strong fighter for the people who needed tough love. She was a great friend to many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her children Elizabeth Procopio O’Rourke of Butler; Paul C. (Courtney) Wroblewski, Jr. of Rochester; Colton (Angela) Wroblewski of Greensburg; her grandchildren Isaac Procopio, Isaiah Procopio, Rowen Wroblewski, Sienna Wroblewski, Jack Wroblewski, Charles Wroblewski, and Elijah Wroblewski; and her brother Jonathan Lang of Mercer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul C. Wroblewski, Sr., who she married May 8, 1987 and who passed away December 5, 2004; an infant brother Johnny Lang; and three sisters Georgina Thomas, Deborah Schienle, and Hope Richter.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm in the Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main Street, Prospect.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 11am in the Raisley Funeral Home, with additional visitation from 10am until 11am.
Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
