Ruth G. Lynn, 99, of Butler, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at her residence.
She was born July 7, 1923 in Hilliards, the daughter of the late Frank and Selma (Brown) Fair.
Ruth was a member of the North Washington United Presbyterian Church. She retired after 30 years of service as the food service director for Moniteau School District.
Surviving are her son, Douglas E. (Bambi) Lynn of Butler with whom she made her home; a granddaughter, Michelle Wuest, her grandson, Gregory Lynn; 2 step grandchildren, Carly Tate and Corey Rieger; one great grandson, Jacob Lynn; a sister, Sally (Donald) Huffman of San Diego, CA; and three brothers, Rev. Earl (Glenda) Fair of Fairview, Dale (Janet) Fair of North Washington and Joe (Kay) Fair of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Lynn who died November 23, 1994; a son, Donald F. Lynn; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
The Lynn family wishes to thank the caregivers that were instrumental in Ruth’s care at home, especially Sally (Bill) Pinkle, Tia (Jeff) Pinkle and Debra Brown. Sally was Ruth’s personal angel who Ruth loved dearly.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 18th at North Washington Cemetery, 723 Fairview Road, at 11 AM with her brother, Rev. Earl Fair officiating.
