Ruth Kienzle, a life long resident of Butler, passed away on Oct 2, 2022 at the age of 97.
She was born in Butler on July 2nd 1925 to the late Andrew and Melba Schmeider and married for 50 yeas to Harold Kienzle, who passed away in 1996.
She worked briefly for the Bantam Car Co. and retired from the Butler Florist. She was a faithful member of All Saints Parish, St Conrad RC Church and a life time member of the Christian Mothers. She loved her home and spending time with her family, cooking large dinners well into her eighties. Card playing was her lifetime enjoyment with family and friends and she loved her monthly card club.
She is survived by one daughter Donna and her husband Mick Musulin. one son Richard and his wife Pam. Three Grandchildren Lisa and husband Avner Mizrahi and their three children Shai, Miles and Darrah. Mike and his wife Kassi and their two children Easton and Lilianna. Jenny and her husband Scott Dittmer and their two children Kaelin and Kensi. Also many nieces and nephews and their children and many friends.
Besides her husband, Harold, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Schmeider and sister Dorothy Schmeider Kradel, Ruth is the last to depart of her brothers and sisters and their spouses, and her husbands 15 brothers and sisters and their spouses. She will be greatly missed by everyone.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, on Thursday, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, at 10:00 am, at St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road in Meridian. Everyone is asked to please meet at the Church Friday morning. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
