The South Butler School District is making a hire and reorganizing some administrative positions after a retirement.
Following the retirement of Assistant Superintendent Richard Cavett, that position will not be re-filled.
Instead, some of Cavett’s duties will be assumed by newly-hired Director of Human Resources Patricia Crump, who will make a yearly salary of $95,000 beginning Aug. 1.
According to Superintendent Dr. David Foley, Cavett’s other duties related to curriculum will be split between himself, building principals and other district staff.
