The public is invited to attend an outdoor event at a local park later this week.
On Thursday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. a park staff member will lead a Salamander Safari on Hell Run Creek at McConnells Mill State Park.
This activity promises fun and discovery for the whole family. Participants should meet at the Hells Hollow Trail parking lot, dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water.
Pre-registration is required by calling the park office. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and participants must wear a face mask or covering.
