The public is invited to attend an outdoor event at a local park later this week.
On Friday from 10 a.m. to noon the park naturalist will lead a Salamander Safari on Hell Run Creek at McConnells Mill State Park.
This activity promises fun and discovery for the whole family as salamanders and all sorts of other creatures call Hell Creek home.
Participants should meet at the Hells Hollow Trail parking lot, dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water.
