The county is moving forward with the sale of properties inside the Connoquenessing Woodlands area.
Last month, county commissioners decided to table the sale of properties on the land that has been subject to a number of issues, including water problems, to make sure that the buyers were aware of the situation.
They discovered that buyers either had ties to the property or already knew about the issues.
Moving forward, commissioners are requiring would-be buyers of properties on the county’s repository to sign an affidavit essentially acknowledging the issues that exist with the land they are purchasing.
