There’s still time for local residents to apply for assistance from a program made possible by the Salvation Army.
Project Bundle-Up benefits children of all ages and seniors age 65 and older residing in and around the Butler area.
Those who would like to be considered are asked to bring proof of address, proof of income, proof of children’s ages, and photo ID to the Salvation Army on West Cunningham Street from 10 a.m. to noon today, 1 to 3 p.m. tomorrow, or 10 a.m. to noon Thursday. Residents are eligible to participate in Project Bundle-Up every two years.
Those in need of assistance are asked to contact the Salvation Army office by phone at 724-287-5532. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. excluding noon to 1 p.m.
