A couple of local residents who have been focused on helping the Butler community for the past several years are retiring.
Majors David and Darlene Means of the Salvation Army Butler Corps will lead their final service in Butler this Sunday at 10 a.m.
In addition to being welcome at the service, the community is welcome to stick around for lunch.
The pair has spent the past five years in Butler and plan on moving to Mercer County upon retirement.
