There will be a couple chances for the young and the young at heart to spend time with jolly old St. Nick around Butler County this weekend.
First, the Southern Butler County Business Association invites residents of all ages to meet Santa on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon sharp at the Jackson Township Municipal Building. In addition to a free picture with Santa, attendees will also be able to enjoy free hot chocolate and dilly bars, as well as holiday tunes and s special appearance by the Grinch. Glade Run Lutheran Services will also be holding a sock and toiletry drive to support their warming center. No RSVP necessary.
Also on Saturday, the Jean B. Purvis Community Health Center is hosting Photos With Santa and Mrs. Claus from 1 to 3 p.m. Visitors will receive a free 5 by 7 print along with complimentary hot chocolate and snacks. Registration is requested for this free event through the butler health clinic website or by phone (724-841-0980).
