While the Saxonburg Festival of the Arts may not be its own exclusive event, artists will still have plenty of opportunities to showcase their work as it combines with a new event later this fall.
Saxonburg Fine Art is now accepting submissions for their annual event, which is back for its 37th year during “Minglefest”—a new fall celebration happening September 9 and 10th.
The fine art show will take place inside the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church that weekend.
There are several classifications for entries:
- Students (ages 12-18)
- Professional
- Non-professional
There are also optional themed categories: “Things That Fly” and “Historic Saxonburg.”
Ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded at the show’s end.
Minglefest also coincides with Sprankle’s Octoberfest.
